I Haven't Lived in a Dorm Since...

...freshman year! People refer to this building as a "dorm" though it's not exclusively student housing. Re-adjusting to elevator life, using electronic entry and not using my jeep. This is a hard time to move to WI because of the wintry roads, cold discouraging me from moving around too much outside, and students getting back into the city, making the roads that much more packed. This building may get loud too, as it's close to the party center of town and I'm not sure how thick the walls are. The worst part of moving is stocking up on housing stuff here, because it's hard to get places. Stores are far away, and even if they're not, it takes time to get to them because of traffic. I'll be glad when the essentials are done and I can finally calmly start my new student life. It would have been great had I had time to look around here, move slowly, etc. but things are working out.
